Things to Know

Dogtown Lake Group Site

Family Reunion will be hosted at Dogtown Lake Campground about 15 minutes outside Williams, AZ. There will be plenty of space to camp but we have also rented 6 hotel rooms (one per head of clan) at the Days Inn in Williams. If you wish to rent more rooms beyond this, do so asap!


There are spaces at Dogtown to park RV’s (up to 30ft) however there are no utlilty hook-up’s. Otherwise there is plenty of space to set up tents, park cars/trailers, hang some hammocks... whatever method of camping suits you. Friendly dogs are allowed.

How to get There

From Williams turn south on Fourth Street (FR 173-Perkinsville Rd. ) for 3.5 miles to Forest Road 140. Turn left on FR 140 and continue for 3 miles to FR 132; turn left onto FR 132 and follow it to Dogtown Lake .

Friday

2pm to 4pm - arrive, check-in and setup

4pm to 6pm - stop by the main ramada to drop off auction items (more on that below), grab a snack, pick up a printed schedule and swag bag.

6pm to 9pm - dinner and music (we will publish some song lists for any musicians that want to join the band)


Saturday

7am to 8am - coffee at the Ramada

8am to 9am - breakfast at the Ramada

10am to noon - special activities for all ages!

noon to 1pm - lunch at Ramada

1pm to 4pm - horseshoes, cornhole, hikes, bird watching, nap time (for some)

5:30pm - group picture!

6pm to 7pm - dinner

7pm to 8pm - gathering game for all

8pm to 8:30pm - family slideshow

8:30pm to 10pm - music and singing


Sunday

7am to 8am - coffee at the Ramada

8am to 9am - breakfast at the Ramada

9am to 10am - flag raising and church

10am to noon - break camp

Noon - departure or, stay for after party! **

** campground is booked through Monday August 5, so no rush to leave!

Silent Auction

In an effort to maximize time for eating and visiting, we are hosting a silent auction instead of live auction this year. These items will be displayed with bidding sheets the duration of Saturday and winners will be announced Saturday evening.

Family Store

Have some handmade goods you want to share with the folks while raising some funds for future reunions? Bring it on! These items will displayed with fixed prices for purchase. Think homemade jams, a batch of cookies, crocheted pot holders...
